I have the highest respect for the medical profession and its incredible commitment to service and healing, but I learned that patients are dying from preventable conditions and don’t get much chance to learn about their bodies and how they can have an impact on their personal health. Chronic diseases can profoundly reduce quality of life for patients and for their families, affecting enjoyment of life, family relationships, and finances.
I began wondering if there were other ways to contribute to health, well-being and disease prevention to keep people healthy in the first place.
As a Physical Therapist with over 20 years of experience, I have always been determined to be the best physical therapist I could possibly be. To broaden my knowledge, I decided to spend a year studying at Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), in NYC - a holistic health & nutrition school, a school that not only trained me to change lives but had an impact on my own health and well-being. I’ve always been fascinated with personal growth and development. The IIN taught me the skills to become the CEO of my own body and health.
In 2019, I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.
I can now help my clients to reclaim their birth right of optimal health through personalized diet and lifestyle modifications that are feasible and realistic. I strive to bring empathy into every client encounter and instill hope that even in the darkest times, we can emerge as a beacon of health.
